Electrical Questions? Look Here.

Our FAQs section provides customers with information about electrical issues, as well as our company’s policies and procedures. If you can't find information about a specific question, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Typically, if there is an issue with your electrical system that is unknown, that needs trouble shooting, or small jobs like device replacement, light replacement etc., this would fall under the “service call” category. If you have a larger project, or repair to your electrical system, or you would like a specific circuit installed, this will typically fall in to the “estimate” category.

Electric Connection LLC will always obtain an electrical permit. Almost all electrical work requires an electrical permit, either a general permit, or a class B permit. Having an electrical permit helps to ensure a few things: 1- the contractor that you are about to hire is licensed, bonded and insured to do the electrical work. (Jurisdictions won’t issue permits unless these requirements are met) 2- It helps ensure a code compliant install, so you know that your electrician isn’t cutting corners.

For most jobs Electric Connection LLC will provide a free estimate and 1 job site visit. Occasionally if there is a project that will require engineering or other professional services to complete the estimate, or multiple jobsite visits, we do charge for those services and additional trips to the job site.

Yes! Every estimate will have a link to follow at the bottom. There is a real time cost & payment estimator, with an easy-to-follow online application process.
